Inspired by the world around me and working with a variety of clays, I handcraft each individual piece before bisque firing and glazing it. Once completed, the pieces are carefully assembled like a colourful puzzle, coming together to create unique and vibrant ceramic wall art.

Rose is a ceramic artist working from her studio in Ballincollig, Cork. She draws inspiration for many of her creations from the beauty of her garden, the Irish countryside, and the mountains she explores while walking throughout Ireland. Nature, in all its forms, is at the heart of her work and influences every piece she creates.
Her charming ceramic ducks were inspired by her brother's ducks, which she loves to observe. "They are such fun to watch as they waddle around and swim in their pond."
Every piece is individually handcrafted and completely unique. No two creations are ever exactly alike, reflecting the natural and organic process of working with clay.
Rose describes her creative process as a journey of discovery:
"As I hold a piece of clay in my hands, I mould and shape it, allowing the clay to guide me. I may start out intending to create a flower and end up making one of my ducks. It is a true joy to work with clay and draw inspiration from my surroundings and from nature itself."
Through her work, Rose hopes to capture the beauty, colour, and joy she finds in the world around her, creating pieces that bring warmth, character, and a touch of nature into people's homes.
